Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARMRIT certification and proficiency in Philips MRI systems for a day shift acute care assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Main MRI unit of an acute care setting
• Work with Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI systems; 1.5 Siemens system coming June 2025
• Schedule includes 12-hour day shifts: Thursdays (7 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.), Saturdays and Sundays (6:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.)
• Rotating week-long on-call schedule from Monday to Monday, including overnight hours and weekends
• Call-back is rare, averaging 2-4 times per month
• EMR is EpicCare Inpatient EMR 2010
• Call coverage rotation is once per month but may adjust based on staff coverage
• Holiday shift coverage is required
• Daily parking options available on and off campus for a fee
• Returning candidates may not have been employed by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility in the past year except for PRN roles through outside firms
• Scrubs or dress code details not specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Certified MRI Technologist via ARMRIT or equivalent
• Proficiency with Philips MRI systems required
• Must provide two references: at least one from a supervisor within the last 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the last three years
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
• License required if applicable
