Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, ARRT (R & MR) certification, and BLS (AHA) for a travel opportunity working 3x12 hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a magnetic resonance imaging unit performing general MRI procedures for outpatients, inpatients, and ED patients
• Setting includes care for a mix of patient populations (outpatient, inpatient, emergency)
• Flexible schedule with 12-hour shifts: Week 1 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday), Week 2 (Sunday, Thursday, Friday) from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM
• Weekend work required every other Saturday and Sunday
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Siemens Altea and Avanto MRI scanners (experience preferred)
• IV placement and power injector skills required
• Perform all general MRI procedures for diverse patient populations including emergency department
• Collaborate closely with other radiology and clinical team members
• Compassion and collaboration are valued in the workplace
• Experience with Siemens Altea or Avanto is preferred
• No first-time travelers
• Weekend and holiday rotations are expected as scheduled

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an MRI Technologist
• Current ARRT (R & MR) certification required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• IV placement and experience with MRI power injectors required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• License required if applicable
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number
• Candidates must live at least 65 miles away; local candidates not accepted
• Certifications must be active and not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
