POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting patient diagnosis and treatment by executing laboratory tests in various environments, including toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology labs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving, typing, testing, and maintaining blood bank inventories
• Performing comprehensive laboratory tests
• Assessing and recording test results

Requirements:

Applicants must have:

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist
• An Illinois State Healthcare Provider license or the willingness to obtain one

Required Certifications:

This position may necessitate one or more certifications, including BLS.
