Medical Lab Technologist - Laboratory
Berlin, VT
Assignment for 20 weeks .
Shift -8H Rotating08:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Requirements:
• Prior travel is required
• A minimum of 2 years of experience
• The candidate must also be able to draw blood; Phlebotomy is required for this position
• Must be able to do high complexity testing, including microscopy and immunohematology
• EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
MLS/MLT traveler needed for lab:
There is no on-call but there are weekends that are 8 hours and must be worked - A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.
Blood Bank is weekly rotations with the other staff, approximately 1 week a month, although that can change depending on staffing; Travel techs must be flexible to be moved as needed, must be able to work rotating shifts on days and evenings. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
