Med/Surg Tele RN Job Details – Tucson, AZ

• Location: Tucson, AZ 85741 – Southern Arizona nursing jobs in a thriving healthcare community
• Job Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/19/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780-$1910
• Float Pool: Float between Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita
• Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• EMR System: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Any color permitted

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and scientific judgment
• Ability to float between multiple healthcare facilities and adapt to various clinical units

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective patient care using the Nursing Process in compliance with Arizona Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate leadership and advanced critical thinking in planning and providing nursing care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development
• Delegate patient care tasks based on staff qualifications and experience
• Supervise and guide assigned healthcare personnel
• Float between departments and facilities as required for optimal patient care
