Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Med/Surg Telemetry unit. This role requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry is required.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• One supervisory reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty required for submission.
