Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on day shifts at a rural critical access hospital, requiring a WI or compact RN license and 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 24-bed rural Critical Access Hospital setting
• Adult Med/Surg, orthopedic, and pediatric patient populations
• 12-hour day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Work schedule includes every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Responsibilities include caring for adult, orthopedic, and pediatric Med/Surg patients
• Team typically works in a rural hospital environment with cross-discipline collaboration
• No COVID vaccination requirement listed
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 5 years RN experience in a hospital setting
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Preferred experience in orthopedic, cardiac, and telemetry care
• Preferred Epic EMR experience
