Med/Surg RN Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470–$1570 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Alabama or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and alternating weekends
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility (travel nursing requirement)

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and clinical progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Float to other nursing units as needed to support hospital staffing
