Requirements:

• ARDMS certification
• AHA BLS certification
• Associates degree in Ultrasound Technology or graduation from accredited sonography program required (BA preferred)
• Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification preferred
• Epic EMR proficiency required and recent
• At least 2 years ultrasound experience preferred

MFM Ultrasound Technician III Competencies:

• Medical terminology, basic anatomy, and physiology
• Diagnostic imaging across all trimesters including first trimester dating, early anatomy, second/third trimester detailed assessments, fetal echo, growth, Doppler, transvaginal
• Multiple ultrasound imaging types (transabdominal, transvaginal, multiplanar, Doppler)
• Screening and diagnostic obstetric ultrasounds in all trimesters (aneuploidy screening, genetic sonograms)
• Advanced fetal imaging: genetic sonograms, multiplanar imaging, fetal echocardiography (screening and diagnostic), multiple gestations
• Ultrasound guidance for invasive diagnostic testing (e.g., genetic amniocentesis)
• Minimal gynecologic ultrasounds relevant to pregnancy (e.g., Mullerian anomaly, adnexal pathology, cervical assessment)
• Follow protocols by accredited obstetric imaging organization (AIUM)

Ultrasound Tech - High Risk Maternal Fetal Medicine/OB

Start Date: 10/6 (non-flexible)
Location: Within 100-mile radius rule
Scheduling:

• No 48-hour shift guarantees
• No blocked scheduling requests
• Maximum 5 days of Return to Office (RTO)

Key Responsibilities:

• High-risk ultrasound experience required (MFM specifically)
• Perform first trimester dating & early anatomic assessments
• Detailed second & third trimester anatomic assessments, fetal echocardiography, growth monitoring, Doppler studies, transvaginal ultrasounds
• Patient range: newborn to geriatric
• Assist physicians with additional imaging or biopsy procedures
• Complete exam charges and image documentation, forward to radiologist promptly
