Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with ARRT (M) certification and experience in stereotactic breast biopsy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital-based mammography unit
• Day shifts, 4x9 hours per week, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Role involves performing stereotactic breast biopsies
• May require floating to other radiology areas within the hospital as needed
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility; locals are accepted at a reduced rate
• Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year and be in good standing; local former employees are not eligible
• COVID-19 vaccination card required, or facility-approved exemption request within 72 hours of acceptance
• Blocked scheduling will not be approved
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Current ARRT (M) certification is required
• At least 1 year of mammography experience required; 2 years preferred
• Valid state or compact license required if applicable
• Familiarity with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures is required
• EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred
• Two professional references completed within the past two years
