Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, ARRT certifications, and Epic experience for a day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a comprehensive breast center at a level two trauma center
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, ultrasound biopsy, tomo biopsy, needle localizations, and SAVI localizations
• Participate in a High Risk program supporting patients through their breast cancer journey
• Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM shifts with occasional Saturday coverage required
• No night or call shifts required
• All travelers may be required to float within the hospital or to nearby sister hospitals, within their skillset
• Uses Epic EMR (Epic experience required)
• Care for patients with empathy and compassion in a multidisciplinary breast center
• Must complete required training modules prior to start; average time commitment is 16 hours
• Scrub color choice is flexible
• No parking fees for staff
• Return staff must wait at least 3 months before eligibility to return as a traveler
• All time-off requests (RTO) must be submitted prior to offer for consideration
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Travelers may be asked to float between similar units and sister hospitals as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Current ARRT (M), ARRT (R), and BLS certifications required
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist license required
• Experience using Epic EMR is required
• Must provide two supervisory references covering one year of recent, relevant employment
• Must be able to work occasional Saturdays and cover three of five major holidays
• License required if applicable
