Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (Mammography) certification for a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an advanced radiology services setting performing mammography screening and diagnostic exams
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No call or weekend requirements
• May float between multiple locations as needed
• Utilizes GE Senoclaire and Hologic mammography equipment
• Documentation performed in Epic and McKesson EMR
• Performs routine and diagnostic mammography exams as part of the daily responsibilities
• Modules must be completed during orientation and annually
• Proof of flu vaccination required, or exemption must be submitted within 48 hours of contract signing
• First time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Return staff must have a minimum 6-month gap before consideration
• Locals are accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions

Requirements

• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• ARRT (Mammography) certification required
• Minimum 1 year experience performing mammography exams
• Proficiency using GE and/or Hologic mammography equipment
• Experience with EPIC and McKesson documentation systems preferred
• Valid Michigan license required if applicable
