Location: Santa Monica, CA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (08:00 – 16:30); every other Saturday 08:00–12:00

Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms in a breast center environment
Utilize 2D and 3D mammography, including stereotactic biopsies and needle localizations (preferred)
Maintain QA/QC standards and document imaging procedures
Operate equipment such as PACS and Hologic (preferred)
Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
Required to participate in on-call and every-other-Saturday rotation

Required Certifications & Documentation:
BLS
ARRT (R) and ARRT (M)
CRT (M)
Valid California state license (must be actual paper certificate/permit)

Documentation of:
40 hours initial mammography training
25 supervised mammography studies
200 mammograms completed in the last 24 months
15 CEUs in mammography within the past 36 months
8 hours of Digital and 8 hours of 3D mammography training

General Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of mammography experience
Weekend availability required
Must be comfortable in a high-volume environment (30+ patients/day)
Charting system: Epic
Scrub color: Navy Blue
Must work 3 of the 5 major holidays if requested

Preferred Experience/Skills:Experience with Hologic APBS equipmentNeedle localization and stereotactic biopsyCommunity hospital setting experienceQA/QC experienceExperience working with PACS
