Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Michigan requiring MI RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Primary patient population includes laboring and postpartum mothers
• Shifts are 3x12 hours, day shift (07:00-19:30)
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Travelers may be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
• Completion of online modules with passing score is required onsite prior to start date
• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory
• RTO must be requested up front; additional requests after assignment starts must be discussed with management
• Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screening prior to start
• Expected to actively participate in patient care planning, delivery, and documentation

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Postpartum nursing experience required
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
