Job Description

This role is in the Labor and Delivery unit providing care for mothers and newborns through the entire perinatal process. Responsibilities include triaging obstetric patients, fetal monitoring, assisting with vaginal deliveries, circulating and recovering C-sections, managing antepartum and postpartum patients, and administering medications such as magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, and antihypertensives. RNs will also perform newborn stabilization including APGAR scoring, ID banding, and neonatal resuscitation when required. Strong competency in managing both mother and baby immediately post-delivery is mandatory.Ax
