Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring an active TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 12-hour shift schedule
• Care is provided to laboring and postpartum mothers and newborns
• Cannot accept local travelers within a 50-mile radius
• Candidates must provide required documentation for consideration
• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and providing direct care to laboring and postpartum mothers and newborns

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• No certification may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
