Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D) | Wesley Medical Center
 

Position Overview:

Wesley Medical Center is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is located on the 2nd floor of Building 3 in the Labor & Delivery Unit (70810). The unit offers a collaborative, team-based environment with self-scheduling and strong leadership support.

Key Requirements:

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Ability to circulate C-sections

Preferred Experience:

• More than 2 years of L&D experience
• Experience with high-risk labor & delivery

Unit Details:

• Beds: 26
• Staffing:
  • Day Shift: 1 CNC (Team Lead), 14 RNs, 2–3 Surgical Techs, 2 Unit Clerks
  • Night Shift: 1 CNC, 12 RNs, 2 Surgical Techs, 1 Unit Clerk
• Patient Ratios:
  • 1:1 for high-risk labor & C-sections
  • 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on magnesium, postpartum on magnesium
  • 1:3 for postpartum without baby, outpatient cases
• Equipment: Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, CPN (GE) monitors
• EMR Systems: CPN Gold, Meditech

Typical Procedures:

• C-sections
• Inductions
• AROM
• IUPC placement
• Decreased fetal movement (DFM) assessments
• Doppler monitoring
