Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist with at least 1 year of cath lab experience and active ARRT or RCIS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cardiac catheterization lab environment
• Perform invasive cardiovascular procedures assisting physicians in imaging and interventions
• Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, 5 days per week
• Adult cardiac and vascular patient population
• Utilizes EPIC for charting
• Provide technical and patient care support during invasive cardiovascular procedures
• Assist with radiological imaging, scrub duties, and maintenance of sterile procedures
• Operate imaging equipment and manage procedure documentation
• Educate patients and families about procedures and expectations
• Maintain unit order, cleanliness, and appropriate stock for procedures
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives
• Dress code and attire requirements will be provided prior to start

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab
• Active ARRT or RCIS certification, or Registered Respiratory Therapist with cardiovascular-specific certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Fluoroscopy Certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred
• Must supply own radiation badge
• Active license required if applicable
