Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of interventional vascular experience to assist in OR and hybrid imaging suite procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Vascular OR and hybrid imaging suite with 2 OR beds and 1 cath lab bed
• Assist vascular surgeons during endovascular and open vascular procedures
• Uses radiology and endovascular equipment for complex procedures
• Adult vascular patient population
• Requires proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Day shift (4x10), 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend, overnight, and holiday call requirements
• Must float as needed per facility protocol
• Work as part of a collaborative team with nurses and surgical techs
• Black scrubs are required; non-scrub attire and open toed shoes are not permitted
• Flu vaccination required from November 1 through April 1 with no declinations or exemptions accepted
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed if made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible but subject to reduced pay rates
• Local staff are limited to three consecutive 13-week contracts and must separate for one year before returning or move to another location outside the radius

Requirements

• Active Radiology Technologist license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in interventional vascular, open, and endovascular cases
• Hands-on experience with vascular procedures required
• Preferred experience with angioplasty procedures
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
