Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR and special procedure experience for a day shift contract with call and weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assignment in an interventional radiology unit caring for IR and neuro patients
• Work schedule is either 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) or 5x8 hour shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM)
• Call required every third weekday and every third weekend
• Holiday rotation is required
• Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital as needed
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Team supports both IR and neuro procedure caseloads
• Candidates cannot live within a 60 mile radius of the facility
• Participation in a holiday coverage rotation is required, only one holiday RTO request will be accepted if multiple holidays occur during assignment
• Returning travelers may not work for more than 52 weeks consecutively and must have a one-year break before returning
• Assignment includes orientation modules, which are completed during onboarding
• COVID vaccine is not required
• Scrubs or dress code not specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in IR and special procedures
• Active ARRT R, BLS, and Wisconsin State License required
• Graduate of a Radiology Technology program
• Experience with fluoroscopy required
• Ultrasound experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• AHA certifications must be completed prior to start
