Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Neuro Endovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist with experience in Neuro Endovascular or Neuro Interventional Radiology for a new specialty department.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Neuro Endovascular unit focusing on LVO stroke cases and cerebral aneurysm repairs
• Procedural team led by an Endovascular-trained Neurologist
• Shift is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, full-time hours
• Every other week call coverage required
• Assist with scrubbing and imaging in vascular and neuro endovascular interventions
• Assist in launching and establishing a new Neuro Endovascular department
• Responsible for patient positioning, prepping, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures
• Works closely under supervision of a surgeon to support both invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Expected to ensure the procedure room is properly equipped and ready for use
• Involved in room turnover and adherence to best practices for patient safety and service excellence
• Participation in patient and surgical site verification during time-out procedures is required
• Ongoing professional development through continuing education and in-services is encouraged

Requirements

• Experience in Neuro Endovascular or Neuro Interventional Radiology is mandatory
• Must have experience in vascular radiology scrubbing and advanced imaging procedures
• ARRT or NMTCB certification required
• SCRQSA certification required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• State-specific radiology license required if applicable
