Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist experienced in vascular and interventional procedures for a Level IV trauma center with ARRT and WV licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Work in an interventional radiology unit of a major teaching hospital
• Level IV trauma center and short term acute care facility
• Shift schedule is 4x10 hour days, Tuesday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• No weekends and no on-call requirement
• Typical caseload is 10-15 cases per tech per day
• No floating required
• Radiology Information System charting is used
• First-time travelers may be considered based on experience
• Scrub attire provided by facility
• Flu shot required during flu season unless there is documented medical exemption
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• No restrictions on requested time off; must be discussed in interview
• Free parking is available
• Orientation is held every other Monday
• Former permanent employees must wait two years after last day worked before returning as a traveler

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years overall experience with at least 1 year in interventional radiology
• Active ARRT certification and WV state license required
• Pending state license accepted but must be active to start assignment
• BLS/CPR certification required
• CT and/or RVT certification preferred
• Must comply with a 100-mile radius rule (candidates living 75-99 miles considered on approval)
• License required if applicable
