Schedule

This position operates on a 4x10 hours schedule from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Call duties include 14 days of call with two weekends in a six-week period, with call hours from Monday to Friday 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday available 24/7.

Job Description

The IR Tech will be responsible for assisting with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during the procedures while demonstrating a commitment to quality patient care and service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the interventional radiology suite for procedures.
• Assist radiologists during procedures by ensuring all equipment is ready and functioning.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain proper sterilization of instruments.
• Document all relevant patient information and assist in patient care pre- and post-procedure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid licensure/certification required for the position.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required.
• Completion of a Specialty Specific Competency Testing and workplace health assessments.
