Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT and BLS credentials, Epic experience, and ability to work 4x10 day shifts with call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Interventional Radiology unit
• Work schedule is four 10-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Potential call one day per week and one weekend per month
• Candidates may be asked to float within their scope of practice within the facility
• Adult patient population with a focus on interventional radiology procedures
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Candidates will complete mandatory modules during orientation, with up to 16 hours being non-billable
• Float requirements will stay within the technologist's clinical scope
• For on-call shifts, closer parking is available
• Travelers are eligible for up to 40 hours of approved time off during the contract
• Candidates previously affiliated with the facility as staff or traveler must have a 12-month separation for rehire eligibility
• Scrub attire is required

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification and BLS required
• Valid VA license required or must be able to obtain VA temp authorization to start; license required if applicable
• Two references are required for consideration
• Previous experience in interventional radiology is required
• Must have experience with Epic EMR
• Copy of certifications must be provided
• 50-mile radius rule applies; locals not accepted for Interventional Radiology
• Background check required
