Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology float pool position requiring an OH or Compact RN license and recent IR and Epic charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Interventional Radiology department within a hospital setting
• Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Role may require floating between different interventional radiology units as needed
• Patients will primarily be IR cases in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Epic is used for charting and clinical documentation
• Role involves providing nursing care for IR procedures across various units as coverage is needed
• All time off requests must be submitted with initial application
• Must be able to promptly complete Ohio fingerprinting process upon contract signing
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Not eligible for hire if currently employed by any Ohio State University hospital location

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year recent IR RN experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Completion of nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Must provide two professional references, with at least one from a supervisor or manager
• Former employees must have a minimum 6-month gap before eligibility for traveling assignment
