Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a contract in a high-acuity hospital setting, offering weekday shifts with on-call weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
• Monday to Friday schedule with a variable weekday off
• On-call requirement: 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call every 6 weeks
• Potential to float within the facility and to Cath and EP units as required
• Day shift, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Patients will be primarily those undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Main responsibilities include performing interventional radiology procedures and floating to Cath and EP as needed
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Must work major holidays as assigned; if two fall during assignment, both must be worked, if three, two must be worked
• Must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year to return as a traveler
• Travel pairs are not assigned the same shift on the same unit
• Full compliance is required prior to start; orientation is bi-weekly
• Modules are completed during orientation and hours are factored accordingly
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology
• Current GA or Compact license in hand at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Two supervisory references are highly preferred for consideration
• Must be able to submit core compliance documents and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off, not available during the first week
