About The Position
Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: IR Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 10-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Interventional Radiology License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT Must-Have: - 2 years of Interventional experience - Body experience is a must - Neuro experience is preferred Description: Looking for a start in January or February to cover a load. The department has two IR suites and one CT room for additional procedures. No floating or covering other areas is required. Common types of imaging and studies performed include interventional radiology and neuro interventional procedures. Candidates should provide experience with EMR and PACS systems. It is important to know the types of equipment candidates have experience with. There is one IR doctor and one PA during the day. Candidates are required to start IVs. Shifts are 4/10s from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. On-call requirements include at least 8-10 days per month, with a 30-minute response time. Scrubs are provided by the facility. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment and 3 shifts for shorter assignments. Charting systems include Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR. COVID vaccine is required.
