About The Position
Job Title: Interventional Radiologist Profession: Physician Specialty: Radiology Interventional Duration: Ongoing Shift: Day 5x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years post-residency License: Must be willing to obtain licensure in Missouri and Kansas Certifications: Not required Must-Have: - Board certification not required but should be within 2 years of residency - Ability to obtain temporary privileges in a timely manner Description: Coverage type is Monday through Friday from 0700 to 1700 with evening and weekend call. Daytime hours will be on-site at one location. Call coverage will include low volume at multiple facilities. Available dates for coverage include several in November 2025 and potential availability from April to June 2026. Support staff includes physicians, advanced practice providers, radiology managers, technicians, and nurses. The practice setting features dedicated interventional radiology suites equipped with current technology. Volume is not classified as high trauma. Procedures include angiography, catheter placement, biopsies, myelography, arthrography, and more. Additional privileges may include ultrasound-guided biopsies, joint injections, and CT-guided procedures. Patient population consists of adults. Reason for the need is gaps in coverage with additional sites. Electronic medical record system used is EPIC. The PACS system is Change/McKesson. Privileging timeframe is approximately 45-60 days, with a possibility of obtaining temporary privileges sooner.
