Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week day shift contract, requiring BLS, ARRT, RCIS, and one year of prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Interventional Radiology unit
• Day shifts are 4x10 hours, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Every other weekend coverage is required
• Call coverage required every third week for a full week; typically not called in frequently
• Team includes 3 nurses and a radiologist onsite daily
• EMR used is Epic
• Floating within skillset required as needed
• Must be available to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
• First-time travelers and local candidates are accepted
• Return staff must be gone from the health system a minimum of 1 year to be eligible
• Caseload and staff ratios may vary based on census and acuity when floating
• Internal training modules and up to 4 hours of Epic training are required pre-start
• Scrub or dress code details will be reviewed during interview

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact license required at the time of consideration
• BLS, ARRT, and RCIS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year prior Interventional Radiology experience required
• References required at time of consideration
• License required if applicable
