Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience to provide care in a 15-bed inpatient acute rehab unit.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 15-bed inpatient acute rehab unit
• Day shift from 08:00 to 16:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient population includes individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive deficits
• Required to work one weekend per month
• No on-call responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat patients and design individualized care plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation and ongoing care
• Radius rule applies for local candidates; local rates may be reduced
• All positions are auto offer
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Background check and credentialing documents are required

Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of relevant Occupational Therapy experience
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field required
• Relevant certifications required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and US home address
