ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (New York or compact state eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience with trauma, surgical, and neurological patients
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission (sent via email)
• Ability to wear navy blue scrubs per facility policy
• At least 1 year of overall nursing experience required
• Travel nurses only; local candidates not eligible

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to ICU patients
• Monitor, assess, and manage trauma, surgical, and neurological cases in the ICU
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient care and progress using Epic EMR
• Float to other hospital units as needed to support patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
