Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or compact state
• At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Permanent address must be at least 50+ miles from the facility (travel nurse requirement)

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress in the ICU setting
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, manage intravenous lines, and operate critical care equipment
• Respond to medical emergencies and deliver life-saving interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and clinical procedures
