Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health position in Iowa, requiring at least 1.5 years of PT experience and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting with possible floating between local campuses within the same discipline
• Treats patients of all age groups
• Uses Epic for EMR documentation
• Work schedule includes holiday coverage, requiring work for 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
• Limited time off allowed between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• Responsibilities include providing home health physical therapy to a diverse patient population
• May be required to float to multiple campuses based on departmental needs
• Returned employees who have worked for the client within the past 12 months may not be eligible
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Holiday coverage is required as part of standard scheduling

Requirements

• Active Iowa PT license required if applicable
• Minimum 1.5 years of physical therapy experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience working with all age groups
• Home health experience preferred
• References, proof of taxable address, and recent resume required for consideration
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
