Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position with 1+ year of skilled PT experience and Oasis documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting serving Napa Valley, CA and surrounding areas
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Up to 6 patient visits per day with 1:1 patient ratios and 30 productivity points as a standard
• Requires one weekend shift per contract
• Oasis documentation required; experience with HomeCare HomeBase EMR is mandatory
• No floating between units and no on-call requirements
• Travel within a 50+ mile radius may be necessary to visit patients
• Free parking available
• Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rates
• Responsible for providing skilled physical therapy care in patients’ homes
• System groups clients to minimize drive times, but occasional longer distances may be required
• No specific attire or scrub color required
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this assignment
• Locals accepted within a 50 mile radius at the same rate
• Requests for time off should be confirmed with hiring manager

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent skilled PT experience in a home health setting
• BCLS certification required
• Experience with Oasis documentation and HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) required
• Reliable personal transportation required
