Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience and a completed travel contract for a home health assignment.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting serving a diverse patient population across all age groups
• 32 hours per week schedule
• Use of Epic EMR is required
• Same day interviews available; qualified candidates should expect a call from a (405) area code
• Holiday work required: must work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Limit of 1 day of requested time off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• Candidates with prior employment at the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible
• Reference check may be required prior to employment
• Proof of taxable address is required for consideration

Requirements

• Active Iowa PT license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Completion of at least one previous travel contract is required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with home health is preferred but not required
• Experience working with all age groups is required
