Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position, requiring at least 2 years’ OT experience and one completed travel contract.

Responsibilities

• Home Health setting covering patients across all age groups
• Requires previous Home Health experience
• Uses Epic EMR; experience with Epic is preferred
• Travelers must be available to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, Thanksgiving)
• Limit of 1 day off allowed between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• Responsibilities include providing home-based therapy services to a diverse patient population
• Returning travelers will not be considered if employed by the client within the previous 12 months
• Documentation must include work history, recent skills checklist, and license verification
• Must submit copies of all certifications and identification as part of onboarding
• Holiday scheduling is enforced for all travelers

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist state license required, Iowa or compact accepted (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience with all age groups
• At least 1 previous travel contract completed
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Proof of taxable address required for consideration
