Seeking a meticulous histotechnologist for a critical role
Now Hiring: Travel Histotechnologist - Atlanta, GA
Schedule: 13 Weeks | Night shift, 11p - 730a | Must work 2 major and 1 minor holiday
IMPORTANT: Must reside 50 or more miles from zip code 30342
Key Responsibilities:

Position supports services which include Pathology, Cytology, and Immunohistochemistry (IHC)

Responsibilities include receiving specimens from surgery, accessioning specimen into Cerner, and collection of blocks from PA staff

Carries out all aspects of histology slide preparation, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining

Qualifications:

Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program, or an associate's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences

Current AHA BLS is required

Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty (Pathology Laboratory) Required

Pay Breakdown:

$720 per week (taxable)
$812 weekly per diem (non-taxable)

Pay Details: $1,532.00 per week
