• Shift Times: 12-hour shifts; 3:00 PM–3:30 AM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. Must be available for either shift as needed.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend; holiday coverage required if needed
• On-Call Requirements: None

Job Description

• Block scheduling and 48-hour guarantees are not available for this assignment.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required (dose date on or after October 3, 2023). Exemption forms must be signed by a provider or religious leader. Approved exemptions require masking at all times on site.
• Travelers must work two of the following holiday periods:
  • Thanksgiving and the following weekend
  • Christmas Eve/Day and the following weekend
  • New Year’s Eve/Day and the following weekend
• Extensions ending in November or before the December holiday period will not be considered for continuation into 2026.
• Facility will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the hospital. Permanent address must be included in the profile.
• Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable.
• Travelers are expected to have their own vehicle.

Submission Requirements

• Agency Requirement: Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License must be uploaded with submission. More info
• Interview Availability: At least two specific dates/times must be listed in the profile. “Anytime” will not be accepted.
• Requested Time Off (RTO): Must be submitted with profile. No more than 5 days will be accepted. RTO requests after submission will not be approved.
• Certifications Required (must be in hand at submission):
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC
• Experience Required:
  • Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience
  • Completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia course (strongly preferred)
  • Meditech Expanse experience (strongly preferred)
• Profile Must Include:
  • Work history
  • Skills checklist (current within 1 year)
  • One supervisory reference (signed, from the past 2 years)
  • MA RN license (must be active and uploaded)
  • Permanent address
