• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1870 - $2000 per week

• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or Compact State
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI (AHA only for BLS/ACLS/PALS)
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Community hospital nursing experience required
• Comfortable caring for all age groups in a high-volume, non-trauma ER
• Ability to float within the ER specialty as needed
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Two satisfactory professional references (one supervisor/manager and one charge RN)
• Permanent residence must be 50+ miles from facility

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
• Perform triage, assessment, and interventions for various medical emergencies
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and deliver advanced life support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social workers
• Document patient care and coordinate using Epic EMR system
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Float to other units within the ER specialty as required
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
