Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with a current NY license and EPIC charting experience for rotating day/night 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Provides care to patients of all ages in an ER environment
• Rotating 12-hour shifts including day (7:00-19:00) and night (19:00-7:00) with potential for straight nights
• Floating to other units is required
• Uses EPIC for electronic medical records
• First-time travelers are accepted for this contract
• Pre-assignment online modules must be completed prior to start
• Candidate may be called off up to 3 shifts during the 13-week assignment
• All requested time off must be communicated prior to assignment offer

Requirements

• Active NY RN license in hand
• Minimum 1 year of recent ER RN experience required
• Experience with EPIC EMR is a hard requirement
• Must be available to work holidays
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• Return staff may be considered after 1 year
