About The Position
Job Title: EEG Technologist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: EEG Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 3 years required License: Valid State License required Certifications: R.EEGT. Must-Have: - Adult ICU experience - Adult Inpatient experience - Adult Outpatient experience - Experience with Auditory Evoked Potentials - Experience with Long Term Monitoring/Video Monitoring Description: Inpatient and outpatient EEG tech role requiring ICU and emergency room experience. Responsible for performing EEG procedures in various settings. Work schedule is Monday through Friday with shifts starting at 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM, ending at 4:30 PM or 5:30 PM. On-call duties required from the end of the shift until 8:00 PM on weekdays, and from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on weekends. Experience with electrode placement and seizure studies is essential. Preferred charting system experience with Epic. Familiarity with adult demographics, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Previous charge experience is beneficial. Successful candidates will have the ability to assist with EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies and other neurodiagnostic procedures. Candidates must be prepared to return for lab work within 3-5 days of signing. Additional checks and procedures may be required prior to employment.
