HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel job in Portland, Maine.

Job Description & Requirements

40 hours per week
Shift: 8 hours, days
Employment Type: Travel

Rotating days shifts to include weekends (1-2 weekends per month)
Overnight call 5:00 pm to 6:30 am 2-3 nights per month, strict guidelines and cardiologist approval to be called in
6:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Total: 40 hours per week
Daily Workload: expectation of 7-8 echocardiograms per day

Qualifications:

Experience:
Minimum 5 years of echocardiography experience
At least 2+ years of acute inpatient echo experience in a Trauma 1 level facility
Must have RDCS OR RCS
700 bed facility
• Patient Ratios: 6-7 echos per shift
• Equipment: Philips Epiq CVX, Philips Epiq 7c
• Must Have Skills/Experience: require 5+ years of echo experience. 2+ years of inpatient echo experience. Knowledge of standard ASE protocols, guidelines and normal ranges. Performs 3D and strain.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Stress Echo, TEE. Experience providing a comprehensive preliminary report for all transthoracic echos
• Type of Patients on Unit: perform echos across all hospital units
