About The Position
Job Title: Echo Technician Profession: Echo Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: Mandatory Echo experience Description: Requires mandatory echo experience. The address is in Inverness, FL. Scrub colors are navy blue for RN, Caribbean blue for clinical support, black for radiology, khaki for lab, grey for RT, and ciel blue for surgical staff. The unit has a total bed capacity of 204. The department has a combination of PRN, part-time, and full-time team members, including 7 Echo techs and 10 ultrasound technicians. Day shift staffing typically includes 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters, with 2 ultrasound and 2 echo techs. Night shift staffing generally includes 1 ultrasound tech. Patient ratios are 1:1. Common equipment includes GE Logiq e95 and GE Logiq e10. The electronic medical record system is Cerner. The most recruited skill set includes world-class customer service and teamwork. Preferred candidates have advanced imaging certifications and experience. Typical procedures performed include general and vascular ultrasound, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, transthoracic echo, and transesophageal echo.
