Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an ARDMS-certified Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for a night shift contract in a general ultrasound setting.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a general ultrasound department
• Night shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• May work with a variety of patient populations and case types
• Must be nicotine free; negative 10-panel and cotinine drug screen required within 12 months of start
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments must be completed during orientation with an acceptable score required for continued assignment
• Permanent and per diem candidates may not return within 1 year of their most recent end date at this health system
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• RTO must be discussed during interview and submitted at time of consideration

Requirements

• Registered Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS certification required
• At least 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech
• A minimum of 18 months permanent experience in the ultrasound specialty prior to travel is required
• Must hold a permanent Ohio license at time of consideration; compact license accepted for starts after 1/1/23
• License required if applicable
• All certifications must be active at time of consideration
• No license or background hits accepted
• Two supervisory references in the specialty required, one from the past 12 months and one from the most recent assignment if applicable
