Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for full-time 13-week contract assignments, requiring ARRT(R) certification and at least one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic imaging setting within the Radiology Department
• Position involves primarily 8-hour weekday shifts between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM
• Includes on-call rotation every 5th weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) with 24-hour coverage
• Holiday call rotation is part of the schedule
• Responsibilities include performing both routine and emergency diagnostic procedures
• Duties include operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images and performing related clerical and patient care tasks
• On-call responsibilities may include both routine and emergency imaging studies
• Holiday coverage is required as part of the call rotation

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology
• Registered or registry-eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R))
• Current and active radiologic health permit to practice in Iowa required if applicable
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of radiologic technologist experience required
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Must stay within 30 minutes of the facility when on-call
