Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT X-Ray Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience and required ARRT and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a radiology department providing both CT and diagnostic X-ray exams
• Work schedule consists of 12-hour shifts on weekends: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• Candidates will float between departments or local locations within a 20-mile radius as needed
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• Responsibilities include performing CT scans and diagnostic radiology exams, and participating as part of a radiologic team or independently in a critical access rural setting
• Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures is expected
• Returning permanent staff must wait one year to be eligible for traveler positions
• No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered
• Scrub requirements not specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years current experience as a CT X-Ray Technologist
• High school diploma or GED required
• Current New Mexico MIRTP Radiologic Technologist License with CT designation required if applicable
• Primary ARRT and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross required
