Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of recent acute care CT/X-Ray experience and current ARRT (CT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care radiology department, floating between CT and X-Ray
• Handles adult patient population with a daily volume of 110-130 CT cases
• Uses Siemens Edge 128 and Siemens Definition 128 CT scanners, Carestream X-ray equipment, and portables
• Charting is done on Cerner EMR
• 8-hour evening shifts starting at 3:00 PM, with weekends and call required
• Must be flexible and reliable, with the ability to float between CT and X-Ray as needed
• Scrub color is teal
• Evening and weekend shifts require participation in call, which will be discussed during the interview
• Candidates may not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities within the past year unless employed PRN via outside firms
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care setting
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current Fluoroscopy permit and valid CA Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Siemens CT and Carestream X-ray equipment preferred
• Must provide two professional references, including one supervisor reference from within last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within last 3 years
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
