Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1.5 years of experience, BLS and ARRT certifications, to perform diverse CT procedures on an evening shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is within a hospital-based CT department
• Floating is required to various areas including the Emergency Department and main radiology
• Caseload averages 20-25 cases per shift
• Performs all routine CT scans, brain perfusion studies, stroke protocols, and CTA perfusion studies
• Utilizes Siemens and GE CT equipment
• Charting systems used are IDX RIS, Change Healthcare PACS, and Epic
• Evening shift schedule consists of 4x10 hour shifts from 14:00 to 00:30
• Royal blue scrubs are required
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the contract
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Must float within skillset as staffing demands
• Return applicants must not have been employed within the system for at least 1 year
• Requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application and are not accommodated after booking
• Holiday time off is limited, and schedule adherence is expected for the duration of the contract
• Team-oriented environment with variable patient ratios based on census and staffing

Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5 years recent CT technologist experience
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• NJDEP license required prior to start (process can be completed within 2 weeks)
• Good customer service and flexibility required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• License required if applicable
