Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with current ARRT CT and BLS certification and a minimum of 18 months experience for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a community hospital with a Level III Trauma Center ED
• Night shift schedule: five 8-hour shifts, 21:30 to 6:00
• Wide variety of inpatient and ER cases, including adult ICU patients
• Average daily caseload of 160 exams
• Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Contrast administration and PACS system utilization required
• Cerner EMR used; experience preferred
• Floating to other units or affiliate hospitals is required
• First-time travelers are welcomed for this assignment
• Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the contract
• Scrub color will be provided upon interview or offer
• All travelers may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Requests for time off of up to 5 days will be auto-approved; additional time off requires facility approval
• Candidates who were PERM or PRN employees must be separated for 12 months before being eligible as a traveler
• Local candidates are accepted for allied positions

Requirements

• Current ARRT CT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 18 months experience in CT in inpatient, ER, or community hospital settings
• Experience with adult ICU cases, PACS, and contrast administration
• Proficiency in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction procedures
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must have IN state or compact license in hand prior to start date
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Education must be from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited institution
