Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification, BLS, and a valid state license for night shifts on a rotating weekend schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital CT department
• Shifts are 3x12 hours overnight (18:30-07:00), rotating Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon
• Patient population and case types typical of a hospital radiology setting
• Floating within the hospital is required for travelers when needed and within experience scope
• Block scheduling or specific schedule restrictions cannot be guaranteed
• CPI certification may be required for compliance, Calm Every Storm online version is accepted
• Travelers must complete required labs within 72 hours of signing contract
• RTO must be included at the time of initial consideration and cannot be changed after offer or extension
• Return travelers must be away from the system for at least 6 months; former staff must be gone for 12 months before returning as a traveler
• Most units allow for one major holiday off during the winter season
• Scrub requirements are not specified
• First-time travelers will be considered unless otherwise noted

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact state license required for consideration; license required if applicable
• ARRT CT certification and BLS certification required
• Two satisfactory professional references from recent employers are required, one from a supervisor/manager and one from a charge RN is acceptable
• Must be comfortable with floating within the hospital as needed
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility
